Thank you so much for creating something for me! This is my first time writing a Dear Creator letter and I’m so excited to see what you come up with! Please feel free to mix and match with my likes or just write whatever inspires you, as long as you’re steering clear of my DNWs! These are just some ideas to get you started if you’d like them! Likes and notes on AUs:

- Definitely feel free to stack them if you’d like! Especially the trans character AU I think could be applied in a lot of different ways. If you want to use it, go for it with whoever you want, though if you want an idea from me I’ve always liked the concept of Kell/Lila as nonbinary lesbians. There’s something about them that I just think they’d be great nonbinary lesbians.
- ALL: Character was kidnapped as child and raised by enemy instead — this would be so cool using ANY character, I have no specific one in mind so go wild with it if you want
- The two SoM specific AUs are actually so so cool and could be applied in so many ways. Whoever nominated those I love your brain
- Kell & Rhy being brothers is everything to me. They care about each other so much and just want to protect each other so much and take away each other’s pain
- I was imagining Kell with the Deaf Character AU—but I think it would also work if it was anyone else, especially another major character.
- I would be obsessed with anything you write for this fandom. I'm gonna be so for real these have been my favourite books since I was 14 and I’ve made my dad take me on MULTIPLE road trips to meet the author. Let your imagination run wild and I will love whatever you write

If you want to know more about Charlotte, she has a few pages of a comic (Edge of the Spider-Verse #4 “Prom and Circumstance”) I was able to find the whole thing on tumblr, but you could also look at the fandom wiki entry and it would tell you everything you need to know
- Deaf character AU - I love the idea of Margo being Deaf and using ASL + Charlie either already knowing some ASL or learning it for Margo
- I’m good with anything either super close to canon or ENTIRELY removed from it for this ship!
- Other characters from the spiderverse movies can be included in the background as well, whether it’s in a canon setting or not!
- Thoughts on a soulmate AU: I think it would be super cool if different universes had different soulmate bonds/different ways to recognize their soulmates (i.e. maybe in Charlie’s universe, people usually have an invisible string that ties them to their soulmate, and in Margo’s universe, people have the first words their soulmate says to them written on their skin, just as an example) and neither of them grow up with their universe’s regular ‘soulmate mark’ so they each think that maybe they don’t have one. EXCEPT they’ve been sharing dreams (/seeing some pretty girl in their dreams, at least) for as long as they can remember. They get older, get invited to the spider-society and BAM it’s the girl of your dreams (literally). And they realize since they didn’t share the same universe, they didn’t get their regular universe’s soulmate bonds, they got the one from the universe they MET in (aka Miguel’s, unless you wanted to make them meet somewhere else).

- I love the idea of Hobie acting kind of like a big brother figure to the other spider-people
- I also just love all the younger spider-people (Margo, Miles, Hobie, Pav, Gwen, Charlie if you wanted to include her) being friends and getting into shenanigans and supporting each other because there aren't a lot of people who might understand what they're going through but THEY DO.
- I love the idea of Hobie and Charlie being friends. Like, disabled + punk solidarity is everything to me.
- For the idea of a character coming back as a ghost or never dying in the first place, I love fics that explore how this might have gone in the first movie if Aaron Davis hadn't died when he did. How would that change things? how would it look for him to have to confront the fact that he almost killed his nephew? how would it look for miles to be able to process that revelation without his uncle dying right after and making all the feelings + betrayal more complicated. I like the idea of having Uncle Aaron not die, but in a way that he still has to protect Miles as soon as he realizes that it's him. Or with his character being a ghost -- that would just be really cool, especially if it was from Aaron's perspective and he's seeing things happen to Miles without being able to change any of it. Or maybe he can somehow 👀
- I think a Deaf Character AU with Miles would be really cool to explore. I think it would be really neat to look at the different ways that he'd use to communicate with people (especially in high stress situations that they often find themselves in) and to see who might know ASL already (or some, at least). I think it would also work if it was a temporary loss of hearing, like something happened on a mission and now they need to work out ways to communicate.
- The trans character AU could be anyone really (or multiple people) so go wild with that or stack it with something else if you'd like!
- I think a time loop would be really cool in the context of the second movie, or some other events entirely. Up to you who's *in* the time loop, or if it's multiple people stuck in one together, and what they need to do to make it stop.
- I have no idea how the soulbonds idea would work or who it would be between, I just love the idea of characters feeling each other's emotions. So. Go wild!

- I love the Stan Twins being forced to get their shit together.

- It would be so funny to me if Stan or Ford came into contact with something weird and magic and/or science-y that makes them share dreams with each other (either before Ford goes into the portal, or WHILE he's in the portal) and they both literally hate it so much because they don't want anything to do with each other but it FORCES them to speak to each other and get their shit together. Bonus points if they deliberately mess with their sleep schedules so they're never asleep at the same time before that happens.

- Time travel: obviously there's so many directions that time travel could go with this fandom and there are so many that would be really cool to see. I like fics where the twins go back in time to Stan and Ford separately, and they have to meet up in order to get the twins back to their own time. I especially like when they're stuck in situations where Ford is stuck with Mabel and Stan is stuck with Dipper and each of them see the similarities to their brother in the kid and have lots of FEELINGS about it.

- I love a focus on anything that focuses on Matt’s blindness and especially things that his enhanced senses *can’t* compensate for
- I also love identity reveals to outsiders & I’m absolutely down for any other characters in the show OR the MCU as a whole being included somehow
